Who owns Airtable?

Bending Spoons owns Airtable. The Milan-based software company, listed on Nasdaq as BSP, agreed on August 4, 2026 to buy all of Airtable’s shares for cash at an enterprise value of $1.285 billion; with Airtable’s net cash, that implied an equity value of about $2.25 billion (Bending Spoons). The deal closed on September 4, 2026 (Airtable).

Before signing, Airtable moved its Hyperagent agents product into a separate company, Hyperagent Inc., which is a party to the purchase agreement but not part of what Bending Spoons bought (SEC). Co-founder Howie Liu now runs it (AI Engineer).

What is Airtable’s revenue?

Airtable had about $480 million in annual recurring revenue in June 2026, growing more than 20% a year, according to Bending Spoons’ announcement of the deal (Bending Spoons). The sale price, $1.285 billion of enterprise value, is about 2.7 times that figure.

Airtable was profitable in cash terms before the sale. In January 2026 Liu said it still held about half of the $1.4 billion it had raised and was “throwing off cash” (TechCrunch). The gap between the deal’s equity and enterprise values suggests about $965 million of net cash.

Why the figures differ

  • $1.36 billion is Airtable’s own total after the Series F (Airtable); the $1.4 billion in press reports rounds it up (TechCrunch).

  • $11 billion or $11.7 billion: Airtable announced the Series F at $11 billion pre-money; $11.7 billion is the post-money figure, after the $735 million came in (TechCrunch).

  • $1.285 billion or $2.25 billion: the first is the enterprise value Bending Spoons paid for the business, the second adds Airtable’s net cash (Bending Spoons).

Who is the CEO of Airtable?

Airtable has no publicly named CEO as of November 2026. Co-founder Howie Liu, CEO since 2012, stepped down when Bending Spoons completed the purchase, to work full time on Hyperagent (AI Engineer). Airtable’s plan after the sale was presented by its new product lead, Alessandro Savarese (Airtable).
