Data providers disagree about Canva more than about most companies. Clay marks {first}@canva.com as verified (Clay) and Add to CRM puts it at 83% (Add to CRM); Prospeo puts {first}{last} at 72% (Prospeo); LeadIQ’s top pattern, {first}.{l} at 69%, appears nowhere else (LeadIQ) (all checked Nov 4, 2026).
Canva’s own press releases settle part of it. They list media contacts in two shapes: a first-name-only address (Business Wire) and a first-plus-last address with no separator (Business Wire). So try maya@canva.com first, then mayachen@canva.com.
A pattern-based address is an educated guess, not a confirmed one. Run it through an email verifier before you send, because a bounce hurts your sender reputation.
Which domains does Canva use?
canva.com: the website, the app and all staff email. Its mail runs on Google Workspace, its SPF record ends in -all and its DMARC policy is reject, so mail that fakes an @canva.com sender should be refused outright (DNS checked Nov 4, 2026).
no-reply@canva.com: Canva’s automated mail, such as design-share notifications (IRONSCALES).
my.canva.site and canva.link: websites and links that Canva users publish. Anyone can make one, so a link on these domains doesn’t come from Canva staff.
Acquired brands keep their own domains for support and privacy: Affinity (serif.com), Leonardo.ai, Flourish (flourish.studio), Pexels and Ortto.
Is that email really from Canva?
Because Canva’s DMARC policy blocks forged @canva.com mail, scammers use Canva itself. They share a design from their own account, so the invitation really comes from no-reply@canva.com and passes every authentication check, and the design links to a phishing page (IRONSCALES). Canva’s share emails can carry a warning: “Do you know this person? This Canva invite is from someone you may not know. Be alert for scams and report if suspicious.”
Check who shared it, not just the sender address: a real Canva email can still carry a scam.
Fake ads lead to fake Canva pages. In 2024 Google ads for “Canva” led to a design copying Canva’s home page, which opened a tech-support scam (Malwarebytes).
