The company is Ramp Business Corporation, incorporated in Delaware in 2019 (SEC). Its cards are issued by partner banks: Celtic Bank, Sutton Bank, Lead Bank and Column in the US, Peoples Trust in Canada, and Stripe in the UK and Europe (Ramp).

Who owns Ramp?

Ramp is private and venture-backed. It calls Founders Fund, which backed its 2019 seed round, “the company’s first and largest investor” (Ramp). Other lead investors include D1 Capital and Stripe (Ramp), Thrive Capital and Sands Capital (Ramp), Khosla Ventures (Ramp), ICONIQ (Ramp), Lightspeed (Ramp), GIC and Ontario Teachers’ (Ramp), and Dragoneer (Ramp).

The founders’ stakes aren’t public. Forbes estimates that each co-founder owns about 6% (Forbes). Ramp’s board is Glyman, Atiyeh, investor Keith Rabois and Zachary Frankel (SEC). Ramp has filed no IPO papers; Glyman told Bloomberg in June 2026 that it aims to go public eventually, without giving a date (TechCrunch).

What is Ramp’s revenue?

Over $2 billion in annualized revenue, with positive cash flow, as of October 1, 2026. Ramp counts “interchange, subscription, interest, and other revenue” and leaves out incentives paid to customers (Ramp). Its co-CEOs say it passed $2 billion “over the summer” (Ramp), and that revenue is growing 25% faster than a year earlier (Ramp).

Growth has been fast. Ramp was on a $10 million revenue run rate when it became a unicorn in April 2021 (Fortune), crossed $100 million in annualized revenue by March 2022, and passed $300 million by August 2023 (TechCrunch). In November 2025 Glyman wrote: “Our revenue was $500 million 12 months ago, over $1 billion today” (Ramp). Ramp first reported over $1 billion as of August 31, 2025 (Ramp), and Bloomberg put its run rate above $1.5 billion in June 2026 (TechCrunch).

Most of the money comes from interchange, the fee charged on every card payment, plus bill-payment fees, the paid Ramp Plus software tier, foreign exchange, travel bookings and interest on Treasury balances (TechCrunch). Ramp keeps about 0.8% of the volume it processes, Fortune reported in September 2025 (Fortune). It has generated cash since early 2025 (Ramp).

Ramp ARR (annual recurring revenue)

Ramp doesn’t report ARR. Its figure is annualized revenue, and most of it is interchange earned when customers spend, not subscriptions. The latest is over $2 billion as of October 1, 2026 (Ramp). CNBC described the $1 billion milestone as “annualized recurring revenue” (CNBC), but Ramp itself never says ARR.

Ramp MRR (monthly recurring revenue)

Ramp doesn’t publish MRR. Over $2 billion of annualized revenue means more than about $167 million a month; that is our calculation, not a company figure.

How much has Ramp raised? Funding and valuation

About $5 billion in equity, by Ramp’s count after its October 2026 round (Ramp), plus debt facilities from Goldman Sachs and Citi (Ramp). The latest round is $1.85 billion at a $60 billion valuation, led by Dragoneer Investment Group with Thrive Capital, Founders Fund, Sands Capital and Avenir as co-leads, on October 15, 2026 (Ramp). That is up from $44 billion in June 2026 and $32 billion in November 2025.

What does Ramp make? Products

Ramp started in 2019 with a corporate card that gave 1.5% cash back and came with spend-management software (Ramp). It now sells a finance platform: cards, expense management, bill pay, procurement, travel booking, accounting automation, a business account and investment account (Ramp Treasury), accounts receivable, and AI agents that review spend, pay bills and do bookkeeping (Ramp) (Ramp). Ramp Plus is its paid software tier (Ramp).

It also publishes data. The Ramp AI Index tracks how many US businesses pay for AI tools (Ramp), and the Ramp Economics Lab studies company spending (Ramp).

BILL, the public bill-pay company, had $1.65 billion of revenue in the year to June 2026, up 13% (SEC). Navan, the travel and expense company, had $702 million in the year to January 2026 (SEC), and Expensify $142 million in 2025 (SEC). Glyman was CEO from 2019 and Atiyeh CTO until June 25, 2026, when both took the co-CEO title: “If you know us, this won’t feel like a change,” Glyman wrote. Rahul Sengottuvelu, who had led applied AI, became CTO (Ramp). Glyman and Atiyeh met at Harvard and had already built Paribus, which Capital One bought in 2016 (TechCrunch).
