How this list was built
A company is on this list if it has 201 to 1,000 employees: its latest known headcount, or its LinkedIn size range (201–500 or 501–1,000) when the headcount is unknown. We leave out AI research labs, IT services and outsourcing firms, companies that aren't SaaS, and companies another one has bought.
The data comes from LeadWave's database of SaaS and AI companies, last updated in November 2026. Companies that share a website are counted once. Headcount, funding and CEO come from public sources, so some fields are blank for smaller companies.

There's no single definition. By headcount, mid-market usually means about 100 to 1,000 employees; by revenue, $10M to $1B a year; and some use the term for SaaS companies that sell to mid-sized customers. This list uses the company's own headcount: 201 to 1,000 employees.
For most companies the size is known only as a LinkedIn range, and the ranges are 51–200 and 201–500. A cut at 100 would split a range we can't see inside, so the list starts where a range does.
